StemSpan™ serum-free expansion media is recommended for the expansion and culture of hematopoietic cells, when supplemented with appropriate cytokines and supplements. We offer a number of StemSpan™ Cytokine Cocktails (CC) and Supplements optimized for the expansion of human CD34+ progenitors cells in serum-free culture. *NOTE: The magnitude of expansion of hematopoietic cells and progenitors is variable between donors and is also dependent on a number of factors including: the cell source, input cell population, culture medium, cell density, time in culture and refeeding or passaging procedures.
